Enterlink Beta Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Enterlink Beta!

Enterlink and its resident AI, VEA (“Virtual Entertainment Ambassador”), serve as your digital concierge for discovering and creating virtual events. Our platform connects you with a variety of online experiences—ranging from social gatherings to specialized niche events—while also providing user-friendly tools for communities andevent creators to organize, share, and manage events. Whether you’re attending or hosting, Enterlink helps you tailor your VR and online experiences to your interests.

By accessing, browsing, or using Enterlink (the “Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). These Terms govern your use of Enterlink, along with any related services provided by VEU Inc., a Delaware-based company operating out of California. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue using our platform.

Because we are in a beta phase, we value your feedback and patience as we refine and improve our services. Thank you for being part of the Enterlink community—we’re excited to embark on this virtual journey with you!

Definitions

  • Enterlink: Refers to the Enterlink application and websites (including but not limited to heyvea.com, enterlink.app, enterlink.events, enterl.ink, enterlink.app), any mobile or downloadable versions, and any third-party integrations.
  • User (“You”): Anyone who accesses or uses Enterlink.
  • Content: All data, text, graphics, images, music, software, audio, video, information, or other materials available through Enterlink.
  • Virtual Event: Any online gathering, activity, or experience listed or accessible via Enterlink.
  • RSVP: Registration or expression of intent to participate in a Virtual Event.
  • Profile: A personal user profile you create to interact with Enterlink’s features (e.g., RSVPs, event creation, following other users). A single User Account may contain multiple Profiles, allowing you to switch or customize how you engage with others—however, it’s still tied to you as a single user.
  • Beta Version: The current developmental stage of Enterlink, featuring limited functionalities subject to testing and feedback.
  • Terms or Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, subject to periodic updates.
  • Service: The functionalities and features offered by Enterlink as detailed herein.
  • Third-Party Integration: Any feature or service provided by external platforms integrated with Enterlink (e.g., Discord).
  • Community Circles: Collaborative groups or communities within Enterlink that users can join, create, or host events and share content under.
  • VEU Inc.: The Delaware-based company operating out of California that develops and manages Enterlink.

User Accounts

1. Account Creation

To use Enterlink, you must create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as needed. VEU Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if any provided information is found to be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any activities under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Multiple Profiles

A single User Account can house multiple Profiles, each of which may represent different personas or activities. You remain fully responsible for all conduct and content posted under any Profile tied to your account.

4. Commercial Use

  1. Permitted Commercial Use
    • You may use Enterlink for commercial or promotional activities if your organization’s total annual revenue is under $1 million (USD). This includes community or brand engagement, user meetups, or promotional events.
    • Non-Profit & Government Entities: Regardless of annual revenue, non-profit organizations or government entities may use Enterlink for commercial or promotional activities (e.g., event hosting), provided they comply with these Terms and meet the same standards of conduct as other users.
  2. Revenue Over $1M
    • If your organization’s revenue exceeds $1 million (except for non-profits and government entities), written consent from VEU Inc. is required before using Enterlink for commercial or promotional purposes. Approval is likely, we just want to stay informed about who’s using the platform.
  3. Review & Suspension
    • VEU Inc. reserves the right to review, suspend, or terminate any commercial or business-related accounts at its sole discretion, especially if the activity is deemed SPAM or does not provide value to the platform or VR communities at large.
  4. Anti-SPAM
    • Commercial users must refrain from sending unsolicited or bulk promotional messages that do not align with the interests of Enterlink’s user base or the broader VR community.
    • SPAM also includes repeatedly creating multiple events or listings that provide little to no meaningful value for VR users and communities.

5. Age Restrictions

  • Enterlink is generally not intended for individuals under 13.
  • If you are 13 to 16, you may use Enterlink only with parental or guardian consent, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
  • If you are under the age of 13, do not create an account or use Enterlink.
  • Local Variations: If your local laws set a different minimum age or require additional permissions for minor users, it is your responsibility to comply with such requirements.

6. Account Termination

VEU Inc. may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for any reason, including (but not limited to) violation of these Terms or suspected fraudulent or prohibited activity. Such suspension or termination may occur with or without prior notice.

User Conduct

1. Compliance with Laws and International Users

  • You agree to use Enterlink in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.
  • If you are accessing Enterlink from outside the United States, you remain responsible for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction, including consumer protection and data privacy regulations.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use Enterlink to:

  • Post or transmit unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material.
  • Promote discrimination, bigotry, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group.
  • Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Engage in fraudulent activities or disseminate viruses or malware.
  • Access or tamper with non-public areas of Enterlink or VEU Inc.’s computer systems.

3. Community Circles

  • Respectful Interaction: Engage respectfully with others in Community Circles. Bullying, harassment, or other aggressive behaviors are strictly prohibited.
  • Suspension or Termination of Circles: VEU Inc. may moderate, suspend, or remove any Community Circle that violates these Terms. The owner (or admin) of a Community Circle that repeatedly or seriously violates these Terms may also have their individual account suspended or terminated.
  • Content Responsibility: The Circle owner/admin is expected to ensure that shared content and user interactions comply with our policies.

4. Content Responsibility

You alone are responsible for any content you post or transmit via Enterlink, and you must ensure you have the rights to do so.

5. Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in suspension or termination of your account, community circle, or legal action, as applicable.

Content and Intellectual Property Rights

1. User-Generated Content

You retain all rights to your original content posted on Enterlink. However, by posting content, you grant VEU Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, adapt, modify, publish, display, and distribute such content to provide and promote the Service.

2. VEU Inc. Content

All content provided by VEU Inc. on Enterlink (text, graphics, images, software, videos, etc.) is owned by or licensed to VEU Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

3. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on Enterlink infringes on your rights, please see our Privacy Policy or contact us at [email protected] for instructions on filing a notice of infringement.

4. Content Review

VEU Inc. reserves the right (but is not obligated) to remove or modify user-generated content at any time, without notice, if it violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

Privacy and Data Use

Your use of Enterlink is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and share personal data—including data used for AI training and personalized recommendations. Key points include:

  • Personal Information: We collect basic account info (e.g., name, email), and usage data to personalize experiences.
  • AI-Assisted Services: Our AI (“VEA”) may process data to offer custom suggestions. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is used to train and enhance our AI features.
  • Data Security: We employ technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
  • User Rights: Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data.

Payment, Refunds, and Future Paid Features

  • Current Status: Enterlink is currently provided as a free service. No paid subscriptions or ticketing mechanisms are in place at this time.
  • Future Paid Features: We may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or event ticketing in the future. If we do so, we will update these Terms to include specific payment, refund, and cancellation policies.
  • No Refund Provisions Yet: Since there are no current paid features, no refund policy is applicable. In the event of new paid offerings, we will provide clear terms on refunds, cancellations, and dispute resolution regarding payments.

User Safety & Event Disclaimers

  • Physical and VR Event Safety: You acknowledge and agree that VEU Inc. is not responsible for your safety at any physical or virtual event organized or discovered through Enterlink. Users are advised to follow all relevant safety instructions and guidelines—including those related to virtual reality equipment.
  • Third-Party Responsibility: If a virtual or physical event is hosted by another User, a Community Circle, or a separate organization, VEU Inc. is not liable for any injuries, mishaps, or losses incurred during participation.

Cross-Platform Activity and Third-Party Integration

1. Activity Tracking

Enterlink may track your participation in various virtual events or worlds, creating a personal timeline for your private review. Sharing details of that timeline with others is controlled by you.

2. Integrations

Enterlink may integrate with third parties (e.g., Discord) to enhance functionality. Data shared with or collected by these third parties is subject to their respective privacy policies.

3. User Consent

You can choose whether or not to enable or link certain integrations. Opting in is voluntary, and you can modify your preferences at any time.

Limitation of Liability

1. Scope of Liability

VEU Inc., its affiliates, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use or inability to use Enterlink.
  • Third-party conduct or content on Enterlink.
  • Unauthorized access or alterations to your content.
  • AI-generated outputs or recommendations.
  • Events discovered or organized through Enterlink.

2. Liability Cap

Our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the total amount you paid VEU Inc. (if any) in the past 12 months.

3. Jurisdictional Limitations

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations; these may not apply to you if your jurisdiction’s law supersedes them.

Disclaimers

1. “As Is” Basis

Enterlink is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties or conditions of any kind—express, implied, or statutory.

2. No Warranty of Error-Free Service

VEU Inc. does not guarantee that Enterlink will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, nor that defects will be corrected promptly.

3. Third-Party Links

Any external links or integrations are provided for convenience. VEU Inc. does not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party content, products, or services.

4. User-Generated Content

VEU Inc. is not responsible for user-created events, Community Circles, or other content. Participation or reliance on such user-generated content is at your own risk.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VEU Inc., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of:

  • Your use (or misuse) of Enterlink.
  • Violation of these Terms by you or anyone using your account or Profiles.
  • Allegations that content posted by you infringes a third party’s rights.

VEU Inc. reserves the right to assume exclusive defense and control over any matter subject to indemnification by you, and you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any defenses.

Changes to Terms

VEU Inc. may modify or replace these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice (e.g., via email or an in-app notification) before the new Terms take effect. By continuing to use Enterlink after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use of Enterlink.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right. If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms (along with our Privacy Policy) form the entire agreement between you and VEU Inc. regarding Enterlink. No other agreements, policies, or guidelines—written or oral—are considered part of this Agreement at this time. If we introduce additional guidelines (e.g., separate community guidelines) in the future, we will notify you and integrate them into these Terms.
